About “The Renewed Way”

The Renewed Way is my personal blog on being a Christian today. The title comes from Romans 12:2 in which Paul calls believers to renew the way they see the world around them.

I examine current events, every day life, and any topics my readers suggest through scripture, spiced with a little humor. I hope to create an informative and entertaining read that will enable you to apply God’s words to your life.

This blog isn’t designed for theological pontification. If you’re Christian hoping to understand the Bible without having to take a theology course, this blog is for you. If you’re not a Christian but are looking for a non-threating way to explore a Christian perspective on the world, this blog is also for you. If you do not like jokes in church, this blog is not for you.

I usually post once a week, and keep my posts to something you can read in less than 5 minutes (unless you read very slowly, in which case I recommend reading more of my posts to practice speeding up your reading time).
